These addressable aspirating smoke detectors integrate directly with an IDNet loop, improving command and control reporting while speeding fire detection. The direct connection simplifies installation and maintenance while expanding access to useful data. That adds up to improved safety and cost-efficiency.

Features
- VESDA smoke detection units connect directly to the IDNet initiating device channel, just like other Autocall sensors, pull stations and modules.
- Ethernet Connectivity: All VESDA-E detectors include Ethernet connectivity to interface with Xtralis software for configuration, secondary monitoring and maintenance.
- VEU model: With an ultra-wide sensitivity range 15 times greater than the VLP, and the capability for more sampling holes, VEU detectors increase coverage by at least 40% in high airflow applications. Plus, long pipes and extended configurations increase coverage up to 80%.
- Flair technology: This revolutionary detection chamber design forms the core of VESDA-E detectors, delivering faster detection, fewer nuisance alarms, higher stability, increased longevity and improved particle characterization.
- VEP model: Advanced detection technology provides early warning and nuisance alarm rejection to a range of applications. Built on Flair detection technology and years of application experience, VEP detectors perform consistently over a lifetime, due to absolute calibration.
- VES model: The VES is similar to the VEP, but also includes a valve in the inlet manifold and software to control airflow from four sectors of a pipe. Thus, one zone can be divided into four sectors that are monitored separately, making it easy to locate the source of smoke.
